Limited License for Members.
PARVI grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to PARVI members in good standing to use this publication solely in connection with their membership obligations and professional conduct as PARVI Certified RV Inspectors. This license does not permit copying, republication, redistribution, sublicensing, training use outside PARVI programs, or incorporation into other standards, manuals, courses, or publications without prior written authorization from PARVI.
Governance Notice.
This publication establishes membership rules and ethical governance standards of PARVI. Compliance is a condition of PARVI membership and certification. PARVI reserves the sole right to interpret, amend, and enforce these standards.

Section I — The PARVI Professional Covenant
I.1 Public Trust Role
Members acknowledge that RV inspectors serve the public, clients, and the profession.
I.2 Duty to Clients and the Profession
Members shall act with fairness, independence, and professional judgment.
I.3 Independence
Members shall avoid conduct that compromises objectivity or credibility.
I.4 Condition of Membership
Adherence to these Standards is a mandatory condition of PARVI membership and certification.
Section II — Independence & Conflict Governance
II.1 Financial Interest Prohibitions
Members shall not inspect, for compensation, any RV in which they have or expect a financial interest.
II.2 Outcome-Dependent Compensation
Members shall not accept fees contingent upon inspection results or transaction outcomes.
II.3 Referral Fees and Incentives
Members shall not offer or accept compensation for referrals, recommendations, or product promotion.
II.4 Multi-Party Compensation
Members shall not accept payment from more than one interested party without full prior disclosure and agreement.
II.5 Separation of Inspection and Repair
Members shall not repair, service, or upgrade inspected systems for at least three months following the inspection.
Section III — Truthfulness, Accuracy, and Communication
III.1 Objective Reporting
Members shall report findings honestly, without understatement or exaggeration.
III.2 Scope of Competence
Members shall operate only within their training, education, and experience.
III.3 Clear Risk Communication
Members shall explain findings in a manner that supports understanding without minimizing or sensationalizing conditions, opinion of dealerships or private sellers.
III.4 Marketing and Representation
Members shall not misrepresent qualifications, services, or credentials.
III.5 Prohibition of Misleading Statements
False, deceptive, or misleading statements are prohibited in any professional context.
Section IV — Client Rights & Information Stewardship
IV.1 Confidentiality
Members shall protect client information and inspection results.
IV.2 Controlled Disclosure
Information may be disclosed only with client consent or where immediate safety risks exist.
IV.3 Report Ownership and Use
Inspection reports are governed by the client agreement and PARVI policies.
IV.4 Records and Data Handling
Members shall handle records responsibly and in a manner consistent with professional standards.
Section V — Professional Accountability
V.1 Duty to the Association
Members shall support the integrity and reputation of PARVI.
V.2 Reporting Misconduct
Inspection clients, dealership personnel, or association members may report willful violations of PARVI standards to the Association.
V.3 Cooperation with Reviews
Members shall cooperate with PARVI investigations and reviews.
V.4 Sanctions and Corrective Actions
PARVI may impose discipline, including suspension or termination of membership or certification.
V.5 Continuing Professional Development
Members are expected to maintain competence through ongoing education and professional growth.
